MATT RICHARDS MBE

At just 18 years old, Matt became an Olympic gold medalist in the 4x200m Freestyle relay in the Tokyo Olympics. Since then, he has amassed several international medals including individual gold at the World Championships and European SC Championships in 2023. He currently holds multiple British Records and at 21 years old, is only just getting started.

Outside of the pool, Matt has a huge passion for cars and watches. He is also very much a family man and engaged to fellow Team GB swimmer Emily Large.
